HIRE POLICY AND PROCEDURES:

THESE HAVE BEEN UPDATED TO COMPLY WITH THE GOVERNMENT'S GUIDANCE ON MANAGING THE RISK OF COVID-19 FOR CUSTOMERS AND STAFF.

  • ALL HIRE PAYMENTS ARE BY PAYPAL OR CASH IN A SEALED ENVELOPE.

  • REFUNDABLE DEPOSITS TO BE MADE IN CASH IN A SEALED ENVELOPE.

  • BOOKINGS ARE MADE ONLINE/BY EMAIL AND REQUIRE A DIGITAL SIGNATURE.

  • ALL ITEMS HIRED ARE SANITISED  (SEE BELOW ) UPON RETURN.

  • ALL ITEMS HIRED HAVE A 4 DAY TURNAROUND BETWEEN HIRE PERIOD.

  • THE HIRER MUST NOTIFY ESSEX PARTY HIRE 

    ( AND VICE VERSA) SHOULD ANYONE INVOLVED IN THE HIRE DEVELOP SYMPTOMS OR BE SUSPECTED OF HAVING COVID 19 BEFORE OR DURING THE HIRE PERIOD.

FAQS

DO YOU HAVE ANY PARKING ON SITE?

NO WE DON'T HAVE ALLOCATED PARKING. WE ARE BASED ON A HIGH STREET WHICH HAS FREE PARKING UP TO 1 HOUR. THERE ARE ALSO CAR PARKS ALONG THE HIGH STREET IF YOU REQUIRE. 

WHAT ARE YOUR OPENING HOURS?

WE ARE OPEN MONDAY - FRIDAY 9AM-5.30PM EXCLUDING BANK HOLIDAYS.

HOW MUCH IS THE DAMAGE DEPOSIT?

A £50 DAMAGE DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED FOR EACH ITEM HIRED (EXCLUDING THE AFTERNOON TEA). THEN AN ADDITIONAL £50 PER ITEM, WHICH IS REFUNDABLE ON RETURN IN THE CONDITION AS HIRED.

DO YOU DELIVER ITEMS?

WE CAN COURIER YOUR HIRED ITEMS TO YOU WHICH YOU WILL THEN PAY ON TOP OF YOUR BOOKING.  IF YOU ARE LOCAL CALL/EMAIL US WITH YOUR ADDRESS. 

DO YOU SUPPLY PEOPLE TO WEAR THE COSTUMES?

UNFORTUNATELY WE DON'T - YOU'LL NEED A FRIEND OR FAMILY MEMBER TO HELP!

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DAMAGE/BREAK A HIRED ITEM?

PLEASE EMAIL HELP@ESSEXPARTYHIRE.COM OR MESSAGE US VIA OUR FACEBOOK PAGE WITH A PHOTO OF THE DAMAGE. UPON RETURN OF THE ITEM WE WILL DEDUCT YOUR DEPOSIT FROM YOUR BOOKING. 

WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE TO CANCEL MY BOOKING?

WE UNDERSTAND CIRCUMSTANCES CAN CHANGE SO WE TRY TO BE AS FAIR AS POSSIBLE. AS PER OUR T&C'S CANCELLATION WITHIN 7 DAYS OF THE DATE OF HIRE MAY INCUR A CANCELLATION FEE. PLEASE GIVE US AS MUCH NOTICE AS POSSIBLE SO WE CAN POTENTIALLY RE-HIRE OUT TO ANOTHER CUSTOMER.

WHAT PAYMENTS DO YOU ACCEPT?

CASH, PAYPAL AND BANK TRANSFER.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I CAN'T RETURN ON THE AGREED DATE?

FOR HIRER'S PROTECTION, ALL HIRE ITEMS HAVE A 4 DAY TURNAROUND BETWEEN HIRE PERIODS. LATE RETURNS WILL IMPACT THE FOLLOWING HIRE AND POTENTIALLY MAKE IT INVALID. LATE RETURNS WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM YOUR DEPOSIT AT £25 PER DAY.

CAN I EXTEND MY HIRE FOR MY ITEMS?

THIS IS DEPENDENT ON FUTURE BOOKINGS, YOU WILL NEED TO GET IN CONTACT WITH US AND THEN WE CAN AGREE IF HIRE CAN BE EXTENDED AND AGREE PRICE. 

DO WE DO ANY DISCOUNT FOR CHARITY?

HIRE PROCEDURES:

  1. COMPLETE ENQUIRY FORM ON WEBSITE OR BY EMAIL TO CONFIRM HIRE

  2. PAY HIRE FEE AND E-SIGN BOOKING FORM AND TERMS & CONDITIONS AND ARRANGE PICK UP DAY. 

  3. ON COLLECTION DAY CALL ESSEX PARTY HIRE ON 01277 600340 WHEN YOU ARE 10 MINUTES AWAY SO WE CAN PREPARE FOR YOUR COLLECTION.

  4. UPON ARRIVAL, BUZZ AT THE FRONT DOOR FOR ESSEX PARTY HIRE. 

  5. YOUR HIRED ITEMS WILL BE READY FOR YOU TO COLLECT IN A DESIGNATED SPACE AT THE FRONT OF THE OFFICE. PLEASE USE HAND SANITISER AT THE ENTRANCE BEFORE COMING IN.

  6. PLACE YOUR ENVELOPE WITH YOUR DEPOSIT ON THE TABLE PROVIDED AND AN ESSEX PARTY HIRE REPRESENTATIVE WILL CHECK THIS (USING APPROPRIATE PPE).

RETURNS PROCEDURES:

  1. PLEASE WIPE ALL ITEMS CLEAN (WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE CHARACTER MASCOTS ) AND PLACE THEM BACK IN THE BAG OR BOX PROVIDED. 

  2. ON YOUR RETURN DATE CALL ESSEX PARTY HIRE ON 01277 600340 WHEN YOU ARE 10 MINUTES AWAY SO WE CAN PREPARE FOR YOUR RETURN.

  3. UPON ARRIVAL, BUZZ AT THE FRONT DOOR FOR ESSEX PARTY HIRE. 

  4. BRING YOUR HIRED ITEMS IN AND PLACE THEM BACK IN THE DESIGNATED SPACE.

  5. PLEASE USE HAND SANITISER PROVIDED AT THE ENTRANCE BEFORE COMING IN.

  6. AN ESSEX PARTY HIRE REPRESENTATIVE WILL CHECK THE ITEMS (USING APPROPRIATE PPE) - PLEASE KEEP YOUR DISTANCE AT THIS TIME. .

  7. YOUR  DEPOSIT ENVELOPE WILL BE PLACED ON THE TABLE PROVIDED FOR YOU TO TAKE (SUBJECT TO THE ITEMS BEING RETURNING IN THE SAME CONDITION AS HIRED AND ON TIME). 

ESSEX PARTY HIRE SANITISING PROCEDURES:

 

MASCOTS & COSTUMES - UPON RETURN

HEADS - STEAM CLEANED AND TREATED WITH DISINFECTANT SPRAY

COSTUMES AND OTHER ITEMS - WASHED AND TREATED WITH DISINFECTANT SPRAY 

 

OTHER PRODUCTS - UPON RETURN ALL PARTS ARE CLEANED AND WIPED WITH DISINFECTANT SPRAY 

 

PLEASE NOTE:

FOR HIRER'S SAFETY, ALL HIRE ITEMS HAVE A A 4 DAY TURNAROUND BETWEEN HIRE PERIODS. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU RETURN THE ITEMS ON THE AGREED DAY. LATE RETURNS WILL IMPACT THE FOLLOWING HIRE AND POTENTIALLY MAKE IT INVALID. .
